It’s almost as though he was told he wasn’t wanted in future plans. According to a poster that gets inside info Jake Turpin was told the same thing a full year before his contract with us ended. Guess who both were in competition for a certain person’s spot in the team. Sorry to sound like a broken record.

During the pre-season, Dearden was expected to be the halfback. However his trial form was that poor it caused Kev to change his mind and shift Croft into halfback.

The call was for Dearden to work on his game in the QCup.

However after one game his management pulled an ultimatum.

Play Tom or he'll ask for his release. So they played him and over the course of several weeks he played his worst footy.

Actions speak louder. I don't begrudge Dearden going to the Cowboys and think it was the best decision for him. However this whole line about 'I wanted to be a Bronco for life' is emotionally manipulative clap trap. I'm surprised you'd fall for it.

If he was honest, he was upset the Broncos didn't try to compete with the Cowboys offer.
