This bugs the shit out of me. It's like an arrogance from the refs, almost daring them, "challenge it if you like mate". The players know they can challenge, so just shut the **** up and they'll let you know.not to mention the refs constantly telling players (in almost every single game) that they can challenge this or that. (maybe they're trying to get teams to waste their challenges, so they can't be overturned )

Fair call.To be fair, I do think whoever is captaining the Broncos any given day does need reminding.
To be fair, I don’t blame them. Players are forever yelling at them, “That wasn’t a strip”, “He knocked that on” etc etcThis bugs the shit out of me. I cant believe this. And the Bunker has changed as a result of a Roosters' coach whinge. Could the NRL be more blatant in how they favour one team over all others?
One crucial difference though is our coach said nothing about it. Sure Momirovski got three weeks after the event, but we got nothing. Would it have made a difference if Kevvie said something? Maybe not, but he would then be able to come back to the media after Robinson's hissy fit and ask why that is the next time it happens. And rest assured it will happen to us.I cant believe this.
We have Dearden decapitated, and the bunker doesnt intervene, and nothing is said about it.
You have plenty of incidents with the bunker each round with no repercussions, but the second it impacts the Roosters, the bunker officials get dropped.
Ridiculous competition to the point of incompetence, and the fact that Emperor V'landys is good mates with Politis seriously needs to bring into question his ethics and a conflict of interest for the rest of the NRL.
No way is this a coincidence, Politis would have been on the phone to V'landys demanding change right after the game and as a result we see the Bunker dropped.

Why do we refuse to back our players?
Nah, we never do.I suspect Walters is loathe to point any accountability anywhere except his team and himself. It backfired horribly for Seibold as he was accused of making excuses (even though they were legit excuses). I reckon if Double-D's was on board at the time he would have said something, and if it happens again he'll be the one putting hard questions to the NRL.

I'll expand on this a bit
You need to budget for a 9.7 million cap for next year. Yes it's technically 9.1m but all players have taken a 6% cut, so as a ratio, a 700k contract is still the same as before, just the player is getting 6% less. So for the sake of nice numbers, I'll be calculating at 9.7m. So if Staggs is on 700k, he'd be on 658 next year then (should) be up to 700k from 2023 onwards.
Assuming we sign Dufty, Gagai, Kurt Mann, Capewell and Reynolds our cap would look like this.
1. Matthew Dufty ($500,000)
2. Corey Oates ($300,000)* (200k Veterans player allowance)
3. Herbie Farnworth ($180,000)
4. Dane Gagai ($450,000)
5. Jamyne Isaako ($280,000) (20k car allowance - you can have up to 5 of these up to 100k)
6. Kotoni Staggs ($700,000)
7. Adam Reynolds ($700,000)
8. Matt Lodge ($700,000)
9. Jake Turpin ($180,000)* (20k car allowance)
10. Payne Haas ($500,000)
11. Luke Capewell ($500,000)
12. Tevita Pangai Jr ($600,000)
13. Patrick Carrigan ($380,000) (20k car allowance)
14. Kurt Mann ($300,000)
15. Tom Flegler ($500,000)
16. Ethan Bullemor ($200,000)
17. Jordan Riki ($280,000) (20k car allowance)
18. Cory Paix ($200,000)
19. Rhys Kennedy ($120,000) (minimum wage is 120k in 2022 for players 1-26)
20. Brendan Piakura ($380,000) (20k car allowance)
21. Brodie Croft ($500,000)
22. ($460,000)
23. ($120,000)
24. ($120,000)
25. ($120,000)
26. ($120,000)

Total: $9.24M leaving us with 460K for another decent player? Josh Hodgson at a stretch? No idea what kind of wage he's on but he's past peak earning capacity. Or it could be spread out across a couple of youngsters.
Of course I could dive deeper and say we had about 500k spare this year and we use that to pay a couple of players forward, so we could even still have another million to play with.
If I remove all my hypothetical signings, we would have somewhere around 2.9M to spend next year on 5 new players assuming players 23-30 are on minimum wage.
