all that means is if the Roosters go over it they have to give the NRL money. but you are permitted to go over if you want to be taxed

Ye I remember that but it's not talked about at all in the media or by the NRL. Probably very "random" when it is enforced if it is still about
 
I actually really enjoyed that segment and Rothfield totally calling out Kent and Punchable Face, I just hope the idiot in charge listens because there was a clear shift against him and the rule changes...I LOVED it.

I loved it too, but it was very soft of Kent to say "you're entitled to change your mind". While that is correct he was the biggest cheerleader for the rule change and as the media has so much control over the game if he wasn't so for it at the time we might not be in this situation.

I found it funny with Punchable Face started talking about them wanting to get stakeholders together this year but then Covid happened. Yep, like they spoke to focus groups before putting in the rule changes and this mysterious never to be seen report saying a 17th team in Brisbane is what we should be doing.

Yep lol. I mean what a shame there wasn't a technology available to allow people to convene via video from their own homes. Someone should invent that.
 
David Nofoaluma was stood down from the Tigers senior leadership group after turning up to training hungover the morning after the wedding of chairman Lee Hagipantelis’ daughter.

coach Michael Maguire, chief executive Justin Pascoe and head of football Adam Hartigan were also at the wedding.

Nofoaluma couldn't finish the session the following morning

Come on Madge just hang in there and don't get sacked before Rd 18... you can be sacked on your way home from Suncorp at about 6:30pm Sunday week
 
p.s. i just read the further into the article ... and it appears that the Nofoaluma incident happened 3 days after their round 11 loss. I have no idea why it took Madge over 5 weeks to make this decision

Thought this is worth sharing. Pretty interesting stuff. I don't know if that's up to 2020 or including 2020 though.
 

Is this an advantage to us or does the hotel accom and no crowds make it irrelevant?

Or will there be crowds?
