TPJ playing reserve grade. Big ouch for a 925k forward.
Exactly. The NRL is a weak gutted dog. Hope the refs start abusing players.
TPJ playing reserve grade. Big ouch for a 925k forward.
Following in the great footsteps of Dave TaylorI guess he’ll be looking for another club then hey? I bet Benny is asking, gets to trumpet a big signing who he can fix.
more recent examples of the NRL's incompetence and unprofessionalism.
The first example is that the NRL still haven't finalised next years salary cap, with 2 rounds to go in the regular season. I don't know how teams can be expected to plan adequately for next year (and future years) if they don't know how much they can spend on players.
the second example is Souths pulling out of the US trip in round 1 next year against Manly. they've pulled out because the NRL haven't given them any concrete information about the clash and they believe it is too late to do it properly now, in addition to the proximity of the clash to the World Cup
Souths CEO Blake Solly says:
“We have always been consistent that if it is part of a long-term strategy in the US, we would like to be part of it,” Souths CEO Blake Solly told The Daily Telegraph.
“But given that it is late August and the game is supposed to happen in March, and we don’t have any concrete information, we’re not sure how we can succeed there in 2023.
“There is also the complication of the World Cup, All-Stars in Rotorua. We think the game would be best served by holding on and doing it properly in 2024.”
It doesn't seem like that long ago ppl on here were creaming themselves when he was with us and calling others haters for pointing out his shortcomings.TPJ playing reserve grade. Big ouch for a 925k forward.
He is a talented player with horrible drive and a huge ego. Most people were creaming over his potential, only to shoot dry loads whenever he failed to turn up.It doesn't seem like that long ago ppl on here were creaming themselves when he was with us and calling others haters for pointing out his shortcomings.
It was like 10 years ago when the cap went up pretty dramatically and the Roosters ended up signing Maloney, Jennings, SBW and some others during that offseason. Chances are they are waiting for the Roosters to get their signings ready again and then adjust the cap so it fits nicely for them.more recent examples of the NRL's incompetence and unprofessionalism.

I'm actually a fan of TPJ, I think on his day he's the best forward in the game but it's laughable he was paid 925k with how inconsistent and suspended he is. He's a 500k forward and there's some risk attached even at that price. His manager is a genius. It doesn't seem like that long ago ppl on here were creaming themselves when he was with us and calling others haters for pointing out his shortcomings.

I think the hardest thing with TPJ is figuring out what position he should play.It doesn't seem like that long ago ppl on here were creaming themselves when he was with us and calling others haters for pointing out his shortcomings.
Pangai is just a victim of being born in his next generation. If Dave Taylor was growing up on Instagram and rolling with "gangstas" he would be just like TPJ. Obviously, just my opinionPangai just doesnt take his career seriously. He's so unfit and he doesnt have the natural ability the Coal Train had to carry him for so long.
