Hook would do worse than to play Wallace at hooker while Seggy is out and give that Te Maire guy a game in the halves. Wallace could handle the work load out of hooker. They don't have many options other than stop gap ones like Taylor or Peachey who are second rowers
He should've done that at the Broncs when he had a chance as well...

He did for a bit.
He did?
I only recall calling for it, but it never happening... I must've have memory blocked more than I thought from that time.

Sutton gone for half the season.

Yeah, Wallace to hooker, McCullough starting back row, etc. We got donkey punched by the Warriors IIRC.

Ah yes! But that was a collective disaster, and Wallace didn't do too bad from hooker if I remember well. Macca in the backrow however...

Yeah we got off pretty lightly when you look at that list.

As if Hook is anything more than a puppet at that club. Gould is the coach.

My SVRL is fucked for 5 weeks with Reynolds out.

To be fair Bman, you were in trouble before A-Ry's injury!

Credit to Sezer for playing with that facial injury. Given the quality of his performance, particularly in the second half, I didn't think it was that bad.

I feel for the Raiders - I wonder if that means we'll see a Sam Williams/Lachlan Croker combination?

Reynolds facing 12 weeks on the sideline.

Musgrove also injured his wrist and will miss most of the season. With all due respect, that shouldn't affect Souths too badly but it just adds insult to injury at this point.

Can Souths survive without Reynolds (and to an extent Sutton)?

With Cody Walker fit and looking quite sharp I think Souths can still go ok. It depends on how Keary goes really. He is a solid half but there is obviously off field issues at play with him. He is rumoured to be headed to Union.

Slater having problems with that shoulder again.

Hopefully, it's not too bad. If he is out of Origin, that could hurt QLD a little bit.

Inglis will slot right in at fullback. You guys are fine.

Not NRL but Dodd's broke his leg :(
