NRL Player Movement and Rumours 2016

Dragons are apparently giving Vaughan close to 600k a season. That's crazy money for him. Do they not realise that for 600k, you could get a sit down meeting with top tier props. Ryan James is set to get that with the titans and he is 10 times the player Vaughan is. I guess they just like Canberra rejects.

David Fusitu'a has signed a new deal with the Warriors until 2019

Super League related but it looks like Scott Prince may come out of retirement to play for Hull KR

Coaching related news, if the dogs punt Dessie on Friday, I could see a few teams desperately trying to get him to their club. I think the dragons would punt McGregor in an instance for starters

It'd be interesting to find out who had more input in to the Lichaa signing and Mbye re-signing - Hasler or the Bulldogs' board. I won't go so far as to say that the club's hopes were pinned on those two, but their lack of improvement certainly seems to be their biggest problem at the moment. Besides, you know, being a club full of dropkicks.

I would think these clubs would all be interested in order of likelihood:

Dragons
Sea Eagles
Knights
Tigers
Roosters
Rabbitohs
Broncos

Bennetts got the keys to the kingdom for as long as he wants
Also think the knights would stick with Brown, Tigers with Taylor and Roosters with Robinson.
Also, did Penn like Hasler or was he the one who pushed him out of Manly? If he was the one who wanted him to stay, I could see him punting Barrett quick smart

Yeah I agree with you. I think there is a chance of him coming as Bennett's planned replacement, unless we go with an untried coach again when Bennett departs. If there is any truth in these rift rumours with Walters, he certainly doesn't seem destined to coach the Broncs any time soon.
