Such an odd signing.

It makes no sense. Fifita is a top player but the dont need anymore forwards, in fact they are probably the last team that needs anymore forwards. Especially ones on 800k or whatever it is they are paying him

If the rumoured cash being paid for Fifita is true wow that is a lot of money for a prop. The Bulldogs have a monster pack. I am pretty sure they'll let one of Graham, Kasiano or Tolman go. Maybe Eastwood as well??

They already have like 500K invested in Tony Williams, so that's like having 500K less in your salary cap than other clubs.
They need halves and a fullback, Graham is their best ball player. Either way I love it when they fail.

That's a huge shock. He's obviously done something to upset Gus and co. but nothing is being said. Absolutely amazing talent and probably the fastest player in the NRL. Can't imagine someone not taking a chance on him unless what he did was really bad.

Looks like Roberts smashed a cab window while on the piss. That's certainly not the first alcohol related incident he's had in his career, though most seem to occur whilst he's injured, so maybe there's some sort of correlation there. Depending on how bad the problem really is he's somebody I'd definitely like us to look at. He has genuine speed, which is something our club definitely lacks. Even Barba doesn't have the blistering speed of Roberts. Less of a need with Maranta looking better and Vidot doing so well, but really is a different type of player to what we have now, and would in theory be great off of Barba and Milford.

That said, it really does depend on the extent of the problem he has with the grog. Like I said, it does seem to me like they only occur whilst he's injured, so in that sense could be something that a strong club/coach could turn around.

That's two clubs that have given him the punt. And the Panthers had already given him a second chance but he blew that by not following the clubs directives. He's just another player that won't make it to the top because he can't control himself.

I think Eastwood would be the first to go. Doggies love Kasiano.

I wouldn't mind if Broncos signed him. He is big, he can hit hard and he is pretty good with the ball. Plus, he wouldn't be expensive. We could use him as an impact player.

He also has a better kicking game than our halves, as we saw a couple of times in 2008...

Kasiano or Tolman will leave the Doggies IMO. Eastwood and maybe T-Rex as well.

As stated in another thread, I'd be up for Kasiano, but I'd also pass on Eastwood. Decent player, but I don't see him offering much extra over our current options.
