Maybe they're sorting out details and he just wants to take his time, but it doesn't look like he will be re-signing any time soon.

I can't see it to be honest. It's the last area they need to shore up, given the big boppers already on the payroll. Not that he wouldn't add value, but money would be better spent elsewhere.
