so DWZ to the Warriors mid-season ,,, i wonder how much of his reported 880k salary the Bulldogs are carrying ...

if this was a Broncos move, the media would tell us down to the cent how much the club was covering
They would have to be paying at least $400k

He's not an elite winger by any means so he should be nowhere near $500k on the warriors books

Chad Townsend has signed with the Warriors effective immediately for the remainder of 2021

Hang on.
He is going to the warriors for half a season then off to the Cowboys?
I'd be a bit weirded out by this if i was a Cowboy supporter.

correct

I reckon the Cows supporters would hope he stays there.

Yeah but then they're stuck with Dearden as their number 1 half

James Fisher-Harris has reportedly re-signed with the Panthers. the new deal is said to be a 4 year contract worth more than 800k per year

Well that confirms it, between him and Kikau, Yeo and the back, can’t be much left for Capewell

Nah, NRL is desperate for the Panthers to stay successful and together as a playing group. At a time where poaching is at its worst, the NRL wants to pretend that developing talent has advantages. Look for them to bring in despensations for teams who have a player on their books from X age, and then watch it predictably backfire as the Roosters sign all the promising kids just before they turn X age.

Shaun Johnson confirmed back to Warriors on a $450k deal

Meaney to Storm on a 2 year deal official now.

Interesting signing, hardly a superstar but has the discipline to probably thrive in Melbourne

NRL.com reporting that the Cowboys have entered the race for Dale Finucane. they are reportedly the first club to table a formal offer. 2 years, no speculation on price.

Fox Sports says the Knights also interested

Anyone who can get him on a 2 year deal is laughing. Even 3 years is probably pretty astute business. I'd definitely baulk at the 4 years being bandied about but 2 years would be an excellent pickup.

I wouldve thought dogs would come in hard for him... he was a dogs junior before he went off to storm.

He could easily come in as forward leader and captain for them from 2022 onwards... and you'd think Finucane would have some sentimentality towards them
