Weird move for both parties if this happens. Milford doesn't try here in his home environment and one of the best weather places in the world, not sure going to England in a harsher environment is going to help that.

But Leigh is one of the best teams in the ESL with an eccentric owner who looks like he'd turn on you in a second if you aren't putting in and out you publicly.

I will watch this with interest if it happens.

Apparently he is on 500k. To me that is pretty great value for Twal, seems odd. In saying that I am past trying to make sense of anything The Tigers do.

You are probably right but it begs the question, free up money for what?

That system is broken, I’d always be keen to take on a guy who looks decent there because if he can show promise in that mess of a club, he’s probably elite.

They'll need to start looking at middles with Bromwich, Nicholls, Wallace etc. all coming towards the end of their careers but they can afford to miss Twal and go to market the following year. They have a pretty decent balance as it stands and they'd be better off developing the next crop.

St. George, Cronulla, Canterbury, Melbourne, North Queensland would all be decent landing spots for him.

BH: I still think I am the best person to do it for the club. If I’m at the club I will always play my best footy and try my hardest. I am the guy who can lead our team. I’ve got the respect of the players and I can still do the job.

On regretting signing

BH: Yes in a way I do but also there is a part of me that doesn’t. As a rugby league player you like the security. You have to only look recently with guys like Ryan Papenhuyzen. The game can spit you out really quick. There is a part of me that doesn’t but there is a part that does.
