That's kind of the interesting thing about the Mitchell situation though.
As a Centre, he's worth 750-800k at a maximum, and the Roosters obviously felt the same given they apparently offered him that already and they obviously have no intention to use him as a Fullback.
Mitchell as a Fullback though, that is a slightly different scenario. He comes with a fair element of risk obviously, but he certainly does have all the skillset and physical attributes to be a pretty elite level Fullback, and if a club was prepared to take him on in that role, suddenly 800k is at the minimum range of what Mitchell might be able to command given how hard it is to secure an elite standard Fullback and how important that role now is in the modern game.
Personally it's probably got too much risk for me, but I could easily see other clubs being prepared to take the leap on him for closer to the 1 million dollar mark, and that's no doubt what his manager is telling him at the moment too. Honestly if he hadn't left his run so late to look at options outside the Roosters I reckon he might have had more options than he already has.

I would. He’s extremely underrated IMO.
Not sure how he can be underrated? He's amongst the best in his position?
Outside Taumalolo though none of the elite middle Forwards command anything like a million a season and I don't think he fits in JT's league to justify the same money even if he is amongst the next best after JT.
