Sounds like a genius move that we should put into our player options... "yeah sure... mate you can have 4yr of PO, but we just want to include a little clause... don't worry it's nothing serious"

NRL podcast said "on a development contract this year and next, are other clubs looking? If they are they have missed the boat, he got resigned until 2024." Essentially along those lines.

IIRC he was on a development contract until 2023, so sounds like they've given him an extra year. Not sure how the development contracts work though.
