Good luck to the bloke. He came here probably down on confidence a little after being cut from the Storm and look what we did to the poor guy. Absolutely feel sorry for what happened to him here. He seemed a nice lad, I'm glad to see him going so well over there. All the best Brodie!!

The Titans are kidding themselves. Players don't go there to get better, they go there for the payday and the luxurious lifestyle.

I would have though Mal would have learned from his previous mistakes with regards to Fifita ...

but he recently advised Fifita to sign where he feels "comfortable" ... lol

It's pretty funny tbh. Listening to Sen this afternoon and Fletch rattling off what their back line will be next season...how he does it without bursting out laughing is amazing.

Like even Melbourne with all their dodgy shenanigans struggle to hold onto their star players. Penrith is getting pilfered left, right and centre but meanwhile, the Roosters have:

- Crichton, an Australian rep, willing to accept a downgraded deal AFTER signing on for a higher amount but then it not fitting under the cap so him happily taking unders
- Radley, an English rep being willing to stay without looking around and just take whatever is left
- Lodge, a guy proven to be a bit of a mercenary, willing to stay on a train and trial
- B.Smith, a NZ test hooker and once of the best 3 hookers in the game, a guy sought after by multiple clubs, being willing to accept far less than other clubs because…they did a good PowerPoint presentation?
- Young, one of the most sought after wingers in the game, willing to accept reportedly significantly less than his own club was offering
- Manu, one of the most sought after players in the game, willing to knock back more than a million a year to stay
- Walker, one of the hottest young playmakers in the game, not even looking around
- Suaalii, the brightest young player in the game accept multiple years despite being a noted player wanting to go to the highest bidder

Like if it was one or two, particularly wanting to stay, you’d say fair enough but this is a joke.

And when the Broncos were in full swing with the thoroughbreds there was a story every week about us paying under the table.
The roosters just have a salary sombrero joke flung around and everyone moves on, nothing to see here

not to mention that those other clubs were prepared to guarantee him his favoured position

Mitchell Moses is reportedly "set to" Reject a $5.2 million, 4 year deal with the Tigers.

He'll instead sign a new long term deal with the Eels worth $1.25 million per year
