NRL Players and family members in hot water

Curtis Scott will not be stood down while he responds to the charges against him

Of course.

Sleeping off a big night in your car so you do endanger life? Stood down 3 weeks.

Allegedly assault police officers? Free to play.

the Broncos suspended Ofahengaue not the NRL (although they may have if we didn't take action)

the other difference is that Ofahengaue plead guilty to his charge ... Scott has plead not guilty.

should he either be found guilty or change his plea, then i suspect a suspension will be forthcoming

Jayden Okunbor and Corey Harawira-Naera have been stood down by the Bulldogs.

SMH reporting that they allegedly broke team rules bringing females back to the hotel. Those females are high schoolers.

18 year olds can still be in high school...right? Otherwise this is not a good look for the game.

Article says they were over the age of consent and there are no criminal charges

Is this officially the dumbest thing an NRL player has done? Surely it is in the top 3 if not.

It would be a photo finish but I am comfortable calling it top 3.

Of all the things a typical NRL player could get caught up in, I guess dipping his wick into a high schooler probably should have been more up there than it was.

OOF. the club cannot be happy with those two at the moment.

Whether they've broken rules or not, it is just icky. These guys are 6 or 7 years older than the students. And I know the law says 16, etc but in my opinion, at 17 your still just a kid.

This whole thing is just yuck. They better get a decent suspension.

They were 18 apparently. But still. If you are representing a giant corporation in this way, and you go home with a school kid (It doesn't matter what fucking age) you're a fucking dense **** and probably deserve to be on your ass.

18? Well sorry, I was wrong there then. Still isn't a good look is it.

Maybe the Bulldogs should ban themselves from going to all those coastal NSW towns (i.e. Coffs Harbour, Port Maquarie etc) they seem to get themselves into trouble out that way

I actually don't care at all about the whole age thing, it's either legal or not but going to a school to do a talk as part of your job, and then actually sleeping with them is a bit fucked up. That's about as unprofessional and unethical as it gets. You're there as part of your job not to get your dick wet.

If they met socially outside of work fair enough it shouldn't be news but that's really unprofessional.
