if i did exactly what they did, not only would i cop a fine by the cops (and it is higher that the $1000 in QLD) ... but i also would have likely been forced by my employer to isolate for 2 weeks without pay (unless i had some annual leave i could use)

the Dragons players have to be among the dumbest people in this country ... they've seen the Bulldogs and Dugan get slapped and still go to a party. and not only that but they draw attention to themselves by being do loud that they get the attention of the police, which in turn gets the attention of their employers. dumb *****

It would be far more brutal a punishment akin to a drill sergeant punishing an entire squad for one guys fuckups.

Imagine going to work knowing you dicked over your whole team and having to train alongside them.

You have to keep in mind also, it doesn't just put the competition in jeopardy, but also all the government aid the NRL is getting right now to keep the game afloat.

The government is helping a lot financially under the provision that the NRL and all its employees follow strict covid protocols.

I reckon each player involved will cop a massive fine, the club will be fined, and they will be stripped of some points.

I feel sorry for any Dragons players that were not at the party and have been following the rules, those guys are going to get the raw end of the sick out of all this and cockheads like Norman, Dufty, Bird and Vaughan are the blokes i would be fuming at.

NRL is one of the things that i have really appreciated through this pandemic so far when so much normality has been removed from life, its the little things like watching the footy that i really enjoy.

If these blokes who make far more money than any of us cant follow the rules, then they should **** off and lay bricks for a living the entitled dickheads.
The selfishness you would have to have to put the entire competition in danger and the livelihoods of hundreds of people just so you can hit the piss is insane.
