I dunno. Between the Smith/Munster "white powder substance" incident, NAS no Vax saga and this there seems to be more instability than ever before. They still have level heads in the club but not at the level of Cronk, CSmith or Slater.

No doubt they'll still play at the top level but the shine is wearing off.

I must have been living under a rock and missed all the media talk of the culture problems facing the storm and the off season from hell?

2 players caught with a white substance, 1 alleged DV, 1 marquee player talking up a rival club and a steady line of top line players departing the club screams culture problem and club boardline in crisis to me.

I mean we had guys who hadn't played more then 20 first grade games leaving us plus a guy who decided to sleep in his car rather then drive home drunk ane we were in crisis and had a culture issue?

Maybe the stories are all down in Melbourne and we've missed them up in QLD?

Brandon Smith is facing sanction and a possible 5k - 10k fine for the podcast (that pissed off the Storm)

according to the report he said **** 61 times and **** 3 times. the podcast host also dropped the f-bomb 18 times (but the NRL can;t touch him as he's no longer an NRL player)

on top of everything else that has pissed of the Storm they got angry when he spoke openly about the Storm players cultivating a drinking culture to bond, declaring: “****, we have so many piss ups”.

reports are that the only thing stopping the Storm allowing him to leave early is their issues with NAS and Tui Kamkamica
