NRL Players and family members in hot water

Well, if he is going to rehab then that gives the indication that there is an addiction/dependacy on the drug. Rehab is a last resort. Rehab is the option you take when nothing else you have tried to kick the addiction worked. It's the road you take when you have no other option..

So if there is a history there.. It makes me wonder, did the Sharks know about it? Given their history, I think an investigation is worth doing.

But, it really just sounds like he is trying to play the victim card since he got caught. It's an embarrassment that he is able to and the media will just run with that..

Be expecting an interview by Erin Molan on the Footy Show next year about it.

He'll cop a 3 week ban and a fine that he will be able to pay off with the money in his pocket and that will be it.

They already gave him a 12 week ban. Amazing it's 4x the punishment for taking something in the off season that is nobody else's business than it is for peptides.

I disagree. It's the first option, if it can be afforded.

Don't regret letting Barba go at all now, and the Cronulla trolls trying to stick the boot into us for paying part of his wage only now after they've won the premiership, scum

Oh dear, not like anyone saw this coming at all. Right.

Jeez Cronulla are a shit **** of a club .......

No doubt they would have known about Barba's use of the drug all year (Ben's had a pretty good 2016 season...didn't he) and swept it all under the rug as part of their "win at all costs" club mentality.

First strike, only club doctor knows. Fined which is suspended and have to attend counselling.
Second strike which is now club knows and 12 week suspension.

The clubs knew, this was the second year in a row all clubs were hit up post season, they were emailed about it too and told about testing within a week of their season ending.

Barba because he's on strike two is able to be targeted tested, not just random. He knew that too.

Sorry double checked- Club Doctor, Welfare Officer and CEO are told. Not just the Doctor.

Fine is 5% too of your contract so in this case $25,000.

Edit: defamatory.
And tasteless.

OK, so probably an obvious answer but somehow I missed it..........

Why is it a 12 week suspension and not 2 years?

Thinking big Dell copped 2 years, so what's different?

Wendell was tested after a game wasn't he?

Dont want to speak too soon, but you hear this stuff and you look at our young big Oates, lopping around cheerful as shit, just on a natural high with life.

It appears that 2 years is only for the people that take the illegal drugs and supply them to other people.

It's meant to be 2 years regardless, but it appears it's only 2 years for certain people.
