Again, not sure if this is the right spot, Jai Arrows dog has now attacked and killed another dog. Second attack now. Think Jai really needs to think about who he leaves him with. Sadly I think it will be curtains for Thor.
Sorry but after 2 offences in a matter of months this is pretty horrific behaviour from Jai. If he truly cares about that dog, let alone others, he would have done more to avoid it after the first incident. One dog seriously injured, another dead, and his own dog very likely to be killed too.

Every dog's a good boy after they kill another dog. Time to put that shit **** dog down. Horrible that two families how now lost their beloved pet.

Luckily the first pet lived. Something is clearly wrong though when a dog is getting that violent.

Jai is a pretty responsible dog owner tbh and he will be broken this has happened. As I said before, he needs to be smarter about who he leaves his dogs with. It's telling these incidents have both happened without Jai being there.

they should destroy his dog and he should never be allowed to own a dog again

Not sure what Jai can do really. He's been away when both attacks have happened. He's had him muzzled ( which for some reason the dog wasn't wearing at the time) so he's obviously trusting the wrong people with his animals, that part is on him probably.

He's obviously trusting the wrong people to look after his dog so that's certainly on him. I have no idea how much proper training it's received but it also seems pretty obvious that the dog wasn't socialised from a young age and had that maintained. Extremely important with some breeds.

I couldn't say. I know he's pretty good with his animals, but I don't know living the life of a footballer has probably been the best thing and i think Jai would agree, which is why he had him at a more suitable property. Obviously, it still wasn't the right environment either. Sad all around.

Agreed...regardless of the circumstances.......the dog is quite obviously out of control and is dangerous.
Its time to say goodbye....killer.
You've been voted off the island.

Story I read has a "teenager" ...that Arrow had looking after the dog....left the gate open and the dog got out.

Doesn't sound very responsible from Jai to be leaving an already proven, dangerous animal, to be left in charge by someone of obvious limited experience.

Victor Radley has been fined $5,000 and received a warning from Abdo after an "x-rated gesture was caught on camera after Origin 3 in Perth

He was caught "simulating a lewd act" on Joseph Suaalii

The NRL took into account mitigating circumstances primarily that Radley was caught unaware that he was on live television. However, the NRL still deemed he brought the game into disrepute.

That's just irresponsible dog ownership.

I feel bad for the animals in this. It's only living the conditions its owner made for it.

To a point I think you are right. His dogs have always been well looked after but it probably got a point where living in Sydney he didn't have the right environment anymore. It would be hard to give up your pets, they are like family. Must admit I think I'd find it very difficult.

As I said though, these incidents happened when he let others look after them. Easy to say with hindsight, but Jai needed to be a better judge of who was the right person to help him out with his pets. Would have probably been much better leaving them with his sister or his family back in QLD.

This is why international players shouldn't be eligible for origin. Hehe

If you constantly need others to look after your animals, then don't have animals.
Especially dogs (pack animals) that need their alpha around to keep them in line.

Jai sounds like a shitty dog owner to be honest.

Well tbh, he isnt a shitty dog owner. I've seen what he is like with them, and as i said before, this situation would be breaking him as much for the people who have had their dogs injured and killed as much as he is likely to lose a dog he clearly loves.

Like anyone, circumstances can change and they did for him, which is why he did the responsible thing and relocated his dog to a place he thought would be safer and better for his dog. Unfortunatley, it just didnt work out like that but i think its a bit rough for people to have a pop at him when they probably are just looking at the headline.

I just think, if you are a career footballer, and you know you are going to have minimal time with an animal that needs a lot of time, its better to choose a breed that wont kill other dogs when left to its own devices.

He could get a Beagle, a Labrador, a Pug, or any number of other dogs, that wont flip the **** out and kill other dogs when he is not around.

Pits, Mastiffs, Corso's, and certain other breeds need their owner around, or they become the alpha.
This is just the nature of the breed, and if you cant commit to that, get a different breed.

Someone let Victor Radley off the leash again and look what he's doing to other dogs!

He's already attacked other players on the field when Trent Robinson left him in the care of the ref.

edit: To be clear, I actually don't mind Suaalii as a player. Could have a big future ahead. Shame he plays for Roosters.
