The chances are next to zero. The odds are that Payton won't make it through the season, but Kev likely won't receive another head coaching position in the NRL for a long time, if ever. His best chance would be to serve as an assistant for a few years and see what happens.

I’m not saying he’s the worst coach out there, but after several years of his own players indicating that he isn’t a good coach, it will take a while for that perception to change. It’s unlikely that any club would take a chance on him.
