CROSS FORUM NRL Round 10 Discussion

We've got trips stopping try scoring chances in Panthers vs Tiges the other week not being sin bins, 4 week suspension worthy hip drops not being sin bins, and that tonight is. Its a mess.
 
You know how to stop this…let them tackle the kicker…but you can’t do that either. They keep cornering themselves with reactionary rules.

You can tackle the kicker, just not while they are mid-air and not late.

Players have known for quite some time now if you're making contact with the legs of a kicker, it has to be a genuine attempt at tackle above the knee with a wrapping motion. They can't exactly bitch about the consequences when they don't do that.
 
These guys have so many different interpretations in their head they dont know what which is which. That is a terrible call.
 
That's a rubbish interpretation of what happened.

Nikora is challenging for the ball. Realizes he's not in a good position to get it and pulls his arms back so he doesn't give away a potential penalty for tackling mid-air.
 
McInness interfered with and then Harry goes straight for the gap... ref should've called time off
 
The ref coming to the storm’s aid here. Allowing them to slow the ruck right down when the sharks were on the attack into a get out of jail penalty into a late tackle count six again
