Yes, and the commentators are retarded. He's a born and bred NSWman. Albeit no more so than Greg Inglis in terms of actual eligibility....but then Inglis should be playing for NSW, that's another story.

I remember when Learoyd came into grade in 2004 the Broncos said he was eligible and pledged allegiance to NSW.

I do seem to remember though when he said he wanted to play for Qld. Pretty sure they said no but I think that's why a few think he's a maroon.
