Off-Season

I disagree, there is very little difference between going live and watching on TV, in fact, at live games, you spend most of your time watching the big screen anyway. The NRL suck in every department but if they added some pre-game and half-time entertainment and I mean good entertainment, not 8 year olds running around each other, it would make going live more appealing.

This is again yet another area where the AFL leaves the NRL for dead. The game is a FAR better experience live than on tv and they add some interesting pre-game and mid-game entertainment. They don't even do anything spectacular with it, just get a local band to play or have some pre-game useful interviews / give aways, etc.
I meant trial games in more rural areas. Nobody is going to be living in Toowoomba or Gladstone and go "nah I won't go because it's on TV".

AFL has to do better at those things because it sucks to watch on TV. I have never enjoyed any of the pre-game stuff for the NRL but I am also not there to see the pre-game stuff. Give me a Q Cup game before the main event and I'd be stoked.

I guess it's different things for different people. For me, you would struggle to find anything I care less about than what other entertainment is on, in addition to the thing that I actually am going to see.
It's like worrying about who the support act is for a rock concert. I simply don't care.
If I go to a game live, it's because I want to have a different experience of the game occasionally. YEs overall it is better on TV, but sometimes it's nice to get the atmosphere of 30 or 40 thousand people yelling and screaming. That's why I go.
Interviews, give aways, local band playing......it's all just background noise, something to ignore while I play solitaire on my phone, and wait for the game to start.

Just out of curiousity, given that you are a displaced fan. If they were to reintroduce the Rams or equivalent, would you go to the games or only those that involved the Broncos?

I definitely would not become a fan of the "Rams" or equivalent. I was following the Broncos back in the 90's and when the Rams came in I was excited because I was able to go to a game locally if I wanted to, but I never became a Rams fan then.
If they came back now I would go to the games they played against the Broncos, and my wife is a Raiders fan so we'd go to those as well, but that would be it. Certainly not rocking up to watch the Rams take on the Tigpies :)

Capewell was reportedly spotted at Red Hill this week collecting his Broncos training gear and meeting the staff.

like Reynolds he's not required to report in until mid December

His boat is parked out the front.
