needs pr work but at least he's trying to actively engage the media!

I've never heard him sound so happy. Sounds like he's really made good progress. Can't wait to see how he plays in 2015.

Interesting to note Wayne said he played amazing at the Dragons but didn't perform too well at the Knights, so clearly he wasn't oblivious to his poor form last year, he just took all the circumstances into account and believes he'll be back to his best again.

Also good to see he's in great physical shape and has no niggling injuries.

A fit, happy Darius Boyd teaming up with Milford and Hunt makes me excited for next season.

i thought he did pretty well. sounded positive and happy to be back. acknowledged he still has alot to work on but everything is moving in the right direction. definitely talked alot more comfortably than he has in past interviews. it sounds like he is in a good headspace and im happy for him.

Well,I for one applaud the new signings. Great to have back the guy who built the club . Nobody knows better what works and what doesn't. Looks like he signed some good talent too although the one bloke he let go who I would like to have seen stay was Ben Hannant. Perhaps WB realised Hannant had already reached his highest level as he had him on the books years ago and probably hoped he would be the mainstay of the front row like Civo and Webby were. Benny Hannant had enough opportunities to establish himself as elite class so ,fair play to WB. I just like Hannant although he believed in sky fairies.

I'm really hoping Rod Griffin can get a start in the back row as I reckon he would give his heart and soul for the team, a real terrier. Seeing him at training was excellent ( on video )

100% agree.
Whilst Bennett's signings may be a bit confusing for some people, we needed a make over for the team and he has provided it (some people don't seem to comprehend where we finished this year). He has cut some under performing and highly paid players and bought in some fresh players to spice things up. Regarding Hannant, I'm slightly disappointed he left because he is a good player when he is on but glad in another way because he only really seems to put in for his final year contracts. Some of the players at the club will no doubt be out of their comfort zone now and have to perform to keep their spot which is what I want to see. There will be no more coasting for us now as we will be seen as a legitimate premiership threat every year now.

I am glade Hannant left, he just wasn't performing like he should have been. The change of club should be good for his form hopefully.

I've softened my stance on Boyd after listening to that audio.

He sounds like he has a great attitude and determination to succeed, which is great to hear, but actions are louder than words. I'm still sceptical that he is the right fullback for us going forward, but lets see if he can get himself back to his Dragons form, because if he does that, then it will be a sight to see.

I gave Barba a chance to get back to his 2012 form (and i was willing to give him another year), so it is only fair that i give Boyd the same chance to get back to his 2010 form.

lets see what he is made of.

Welcome home Darbs, smokey for my SuperCoach fullback in 2015.

Hard to believe one guy has put some people so offside to the point of not wanting to support the club anymore

They'll soften as soon as that Maroon and Gold bursts through the tunnel at Suncorp come Round 1.

Won't matter who's in the jersey so long as they are committed and play some exciting footy.

Now this mess is out of the way, genuinely pumped! Hunt and Milford - can you name a more exciting halves combination in the competition?

Good point and very relevant. Barba and Kennedy said a lot of nice, pretty things this year too which didn't translate into good performances on the field.

I think a crucial point in Boyd's favour is that this is his second stint at the Broncos. It's not like any other club, being a one-team town, huge expectations etc. Some of that external pressure may have caught some of our more recent signings out.

Boyd will do well here under Bennetts instruction.

He'll know exactly what WB expects of him from the get go ... so it'll hardly be a foreign assignment for him.

Saying that though, it'd be nice to think Wayne has some new tricks up his sleeve.

Darius Boyd of all people smiling while being interviewed by the media..

A rare sight.

It's good to see. Perhaps he has changed..

On the surface it would appear he is a changed man.

Let's hope that translates to the playing field.

Good to see that smile on Darius face.

Regardless of how I feel about him coming to the club, now that he is part of the family, he will get nothing but support from me.

While I'm still not in favor of Barba's axing, at least Boyd is coming home with a positive attitude. That can only mean good footy and that's all I want from him at the end of the day.

I am generally very optimistic about the direction the club is going in and I was far from that six months ago.

I know it won't mean much to you Foordy but I really do like that mature outlook, especially the bolded bit.
