I love how raiders fans keep saying that Milford is 'rubbish anyway' yet dedicate 100's of pages to their butt hurt that he's leaving lol

Off memory hoffmans manager was quoted as saying Hoffman will consider his options once he is back from world cup. There was a media beat up saying he had asked for a release but 1910 claims he hasn't and he is much more credible than any journo. also the way Hoffman spoke during his return from the world cup indicated he had not requested a release.
p.s. I am of the belief that Hoffman put a media ban on himself during the world cup and that explains the dots not lining up with that whole scenario.

His defence isn't rubbish...imo. He goes alright in the front line.

Looks as though the Milford for 2014 ship has sailed. Posted on Instagram a photo of him in action for the raiders with a "bring on 2014" kinda quote and a green heart.

My take on Hoffman is that he has realized he probably should be on much better money. I'd say he became aware of several other clubs interest in him and is feeling he is being slightly dudded. Of course, it needs be only slightly for him to make it into an issue simply because his wage and ego are inextricably linked.
He was centre stage in the World Cup and sees himself as an elite player getting journeyman/ novice wages. I'm guessing the Broncs will play a little hard ball with him and should he put in average performances he'll find himself in reggies. Not an attractive place to bargain from. Hodges words were spot on for he recognises himself in Hoffman ,not so many years ago.
