And when did I say nikorima is more of a finished product? You want to pay 800-900 thousand for Taylor, go for it... what I'm arguing here is will he add around 600 thousand dollars more to our team then nikorima does atm or in the next few years? I like a good debate but you are getting so defensive and assuming things that I mean that I don't...

I'm not saying he is responsible for the titans position on the table AT THE MOMENT, but for one million dollar halfback I would expect it despite the team around them, it's that simple. Btw, I wouldn't mind ryan James, McQueen, Wallace and proctor would make our 17 so the forward pack ain't an excuse as others have said....

What do you class as out of form? He is doing as much if not more than he did last year. Repeat sets, try assists, line break assists, great kicking game and is starting to run more. He has had some bad games defensively but not to the extent of Nikorima. The only thing he is struggling with is kicking a ball between the posts. Proctor has had a stinker of a year apart from the last few weeks albeit through injury and McQueen has been injured all season and he wouldn't make the Broncos pack at all. You put Taylor around the quality of players the Broncos have and just wow. If this is is his "out of form" year well I would hate to see what his outstanding years are going to be.

I got told by one of my junior coaches back in the day is what you want to be as a player is to have a small gap between your worst games and your best games. Taylor is the epitome of that and he is so young. All the great halves are like that. He is just a consistent player that can run a team like clockwork and you know what you are going to get. Never overplays his hand and gets the ball to his strike men with time to move. We are not going to agree but the kid is a star and would be perfect with Milford and the other strike players in the team.

Lol... wow..... maybe to the titans or the knights which is what "in today's market" suggests... let me re phrase that.... is he a worth a million dollars out of the broncos salary cap a season?

Taylor will be a great player and he's doing well at the titans, but he isn't worth a million dollars a season to the broncos this year, next year, or 2019.

Calm down Taylor fans, I'm not knocking the next immortal...

Agree with everything bar the 2019 bit. By then MAYBE he will be worth that much. But as of right this instant, there is no way he is worth 1mil a season.

For a starter he wouldn't take 1 million dollars out of the salary cap. There would be deals done to push the value up that the Titans just can't compete with commercially. I could argue that whatever Bird and Nikorima are on would have been better spent on Taylor alone for sure. Broncos didn't need Bird. Taylor is what they need to go to the next level as a team.

But now that they have got Bird absolutely they are not going to be able to compete with the Titans. Does not mean he is not worth it if they used the money smartly.

I don't get why people get so defensive over Taylor... seriously, I get he has talent, but it's like he could have a game where he knocks on 12 times, misses 17 tackles and kicks out on the full every play and he still couldn't do wrong. The same arguments you guys use to defend him are the same that you say hunt fans (I am not a hunt fan btw) can't use when they mention them

I rate both Niko and Ash by the way, would take Ash in a heart-beat. Would much rather the Jack Bird money went to getting Ash, but it seems like at least for the foreseeable future, not going to happen.

Thats cause there is no one else. Will definitely find out next year though, he may take a backseat to bird yet .
