Our new halfback should be

Let ash Taylor go was the Wayne worst decision. If titans are smart they will keep Taylor Let go Kane elgey.

Wouldn't say no . Would of loved to see how norman and hunt went .

If it weren't for Peter Wallace...we could have. One of the darkest days in our great club's history, is the day we signed Peter Wallace.

Fact.

Kinda funny that we need a level headed halfback to steer the team around and put in good kicks when we let ol Petey go.

Sign him the following year then !

we could try, and we probably will ...

but the Titans will throw big money at him, and we may not have the funds to compete given that both Milf and Boyd will both want around the million mark.

not to mention he may want to repay the Titans for giving him his shot in the NRL.

Doesn't the salary cap get an increase by then...?

who the **** knows (and even if it does it will also give the Titans even more to throw at him and Elgey)

Hayne will be gone very shortly and the Titans don't have any other really big money players. the Titans have already stated that they want to build their team around Taylor and Elgey, they will throw the cheque book at both players ... it will cost us big money to get Taylor back

You've gotta wonder how different the trajectory of the Broncos would've been if we decided to go all in on Norman as our play maker instead of Hunt back in 2013, we relegated Norman to playing Fullback, where he wasn't even remotely comfortable. From memory almost every Broncos fan was happy to see him leave because of how bad he was at Fullback defensively.

It took him a while to click in to gear at the Eels, but there's not really a question right now that he's a superior player to Hunt.

I don't think Norman could've reached the levels of 2015 Hunt, but he's just a far steadier and more reliable player that would've complimented Milford SO much better.

Repeating a bullshit story many times, doesn't make it true or fact...

Like it or not, Lockyer and Wallace were one of the best halves pairings in the comp between 2008 and 2011.

To be fair Lockyer and a rock with a face drawn on it would've been one of the best halves pairings as well, that's how good he was.

Wallace wasn't anything special, but he didn't have to be. The Broncos just needed a consistent playmaker and Wallace fit that bill until mid-way through 2012. After that he simply had nothing to offer the club and it's no surprise that he's had to transition into another role to find success.

You've got to factor in value. Norman accepted a $1.5 million offer at a time where he couldn't play what was infront of him. Ben Hunt accepted a lower offer, guided one of the worst Broncos outfits to a finals series. He received a well deserved raise the following year, reportedly still not the same amount of money as Norman and was one of the best halves in the competition. Even in 2016, a year he was heavily criticised, his KPIs were among the best in the competition. Meanwhile Norman was busy serving a suspension for his own stupidity.

He may turn out to be a better player moving forward, but he's shown nothing to suggest the Broncos made the wrong call.

It was Norman's attack that irked everyone, Josh Hoffman levels of not passing.

I think the Titans will be spending plenty on keeping there team also . And I beg to differ who gave him his shot , was it not Bennett that released him to play 1st grade.
