It's no where near a long term solution but Matt Minto has experience at the Knights with Bennett, is a good controlling half and great kicking game. Won a ISC with the Cutters and is now at Souths.

He could easily do a Perry if the situation was there.

If by situation you mean Lockyer, then yeah he would be perfect. Unfortunately his halves partner would be Milford and he's just not very good lately.

Do you think he will get at least a train and trial deal in the off season?
 
i wouldnt panic just yet about milford. Hes a long way from the complete player but he'll get there. This year is a learning experience where he has been expected to be hunts equal as playmaker for the first time. In the long run both hunt (less pressure) and milfords (more opportunity) games will improve out of sight. Its just that it may come with a few mistakes along the way

Milford has been good. He was just super targeted by the storm. He was out of gust when we finally did get attacking chances.

This forum is being way too harsh on milf. You have to watch his effort in D to know he was trying his guts out against a really tough side. A scummy cheating side that are all wrestle and cheap shots. Would be hard for any player to find their mojo against them.

Why I'm so impressed by what i saw from hunt. He cut them open. Scored basically untouched. His vision is back. His confidence is up. He's in for a cracking year! Milford will get more chances this week. As will Roberts and Benji. Looking forward to a cricket score I think

Are we really going to try say he only played badly because the Storm targeted him? Because I'm pretty sure we haven't played the Storm every week since round 10 last year.
 
I'll tell you what, I think we really screwed up letting Darren Nicholls go. He would have been the perfect partner for Kieran Foran next year.
 
Why don't you guys dispute it instead of making smart ass comments? But you're shit out of luck, I won't even accept video evidence that Milford is better because the precedent has been set previously with the whole Hunt VS Taylor debate.
