Why anyone would want Kahu at Fullback is beyond me, he's a great player, no doubt, but the speed at which he runs is a major issue. We can kind of hide it on the wing, but at Fullback he would literally cost us 10 metres every set. Boyd makes a run every set or two that picks up 10-12 metres, Kahu is just as likely to get absolutely pulverised and driven back 5 metres as he is to make 5 metres.

Most skillful winger I've ever seen. I believe give him a shot in the halves, Give him a go in Qld Cup
 
Is Hunt trolling us? Was the article released yesterday? If we move Boyd into the halves we're well and truly rooted.
 
Kahu is a really good solid winger and that's about it for me. Always seems to be just jogging, never to enthused or does anything with urgency. Don't want him at centre as doesn't create enough for his winger and not a big enough body. Don't want him at FB as others have explained why. Five eighth may be good as he has the skill but am afraid he will just drift in and out of games a lot. Not liking all his talk about how he feels wasted on the wing and he gets bored. It's like he is saying wingers aren't important and it's just a short term position.

He'll be blunted in the second row. He makes those metres when we need them most - starting off our sets.

He can kick a field goal under pressure. That and the things you mentioned don't come up often for a winger.
It's frustrating watching him be run down when Roberts finally gets the ball to him though. Those situations I definitely prefer to see them swapped. Roberts doesn't mind roaming anyway.
