Yeah those are clearly outdated rules.. I tend to believe the media on this one, you never see any players sign with other clubs 1-2 years in advance, do you? And considering the usual flurry of rumours and movements between November & Christmas, that would also indicate that the November 1 rule is real.

You never see it because it wouldn't make very good sense from anyone perspective deal wise and the deals happen end of year because that's when things are clam and football is over.

Moloney signed from the Warriors to Roosters close to 18 months out from his contract ending. That's the most I can remember.

I'm really wishing the Foran rumours were true, he's a quality player and I think would compliment Milford well.

On another note anyone watching the game ATM think Widdop would go alright in our team? I'm a little on the fence about him.

Taylor played fine in the 2nd half, only glaring mistake was his misread on the Foran try. But Taylor haters will say he choked because he couldn't single handidly win the game, like he pretty much has to every week with their current injury toll.
