Our new halfback should be

Milford and Widdop perhaps?

Prior to this season I would have said no way, but after seeing Widdop's organising and kicking game this year this thought excites me.

Widdop is a quality player. I don't know that he's what we're after, but if Foran/Taylor are off the table, absolutely. I think he can bring a lot to the team.

Widdop is not the guy we should be chasing. He is awful if there is one British half we should be signing it's George Williams. The lads got everything. I'm from st helens and he plays for Wigan we hate each other but you have to admire his qualities.

It's all good though lads we can pay Milford a million a season because of his potential, he'll be the dominant half we need. Ben Hunt is useless.

Apparently there may be no salary cap for next year so we sign him and whoever else we want on massively front-ended deals, we are the one club that can actually afford to do so.

It would be nice if one rodger wilco can confirm if we have missed ash ? It seems strange that he wouldn't test the market considering the cash being thrown about for halves atm.

He has been telling everyone for ages that he wanted to stay at the Titans ... no one seemed to believe him ... besides he will get a big offer from the Titans anyway

So do alot of players and then they leave. It says that it will be a largely back ended deal , no reason we couldn't do the same. I think in a few years we will see a influx of young players so we should have so.e cap space.

we can't do the same ... because he will likely re-sign with the Titans before we are able to put an offer to him.

I thought we could, it just can't be registered until the end of this year. Either way we seem to be in a shitty situation and not much is being said from the club.

England international George Williams says he wouldn’t rule out a move to Australia when his contract with Wigan expires at the end of 2018.

The 22-year-old has emerged as one of the Super League’s brightest young playmakers, and Broncos mentor and English coach Wayne Bennett is an unabashed fan.

Bennett — who just so happens to need a playmaker next season at Brisbane with Ben Hunt off to the Dragons — found room for Williams in his English side at last year’s Four Nations, and has previously backed him to make it in the NRL.

As a side note wasn't Kahu supposed to be in the front line as our half a couple of years ago, before injury? I think he is really wasted on the wing , especially as he is the kiwi no.1 as well.

CM - Feb 8, 2014 - JORDAN Kahu appears to have destroyed his knee for the third time in four years, robbing him of the Broncos No.6 jersey that was all but his.

With RTS back Kahu will be back on the wing for the Kiwis. Where he belongs.
