Our new halfback should be

The 2 or so grubber kicks he did were at the right moment. Actually thought he reminded me of myself as a player:biggrin:

Yeah his short kicking game looked really good, the bomb for McGuire's epic hit was perfect too.

We might not have to look for a controlling half after all...

Any chance of someone like Townsend or McCrone joining both have a good kicking and passing game?

You just named the 2 worst starting halves in the NRL, let's set the sights a little higher, yeah?

Mbye and Brooks are worse. Townsend and McCrone are both solid players and really the only ones left on the market. If Milford is as good as his price then we just need an half who can control the game like Wallace was to Lockyer.

Milford isn't as good as his price, we're paying him under the assumption that he's going to be worth it in a year or two. He needs a good Halfback next to him, not Josh fucking McCrone.

McCrone does not provide what we are looking for.

He is shit.

At this stage, I prefer Kodi to the other hacks mentioned above in recent posts.

I was impressed with his game yesterday, and I liked the way Milford kept going great guns as the game progressed with Kodi at 7

For mine, last thing I want to see is another potentially very good half playing seasons as bench hooker

Kodi won't be the first receiver... I imagine he will take second fiddle to Milford if he plays.

Based on the way they played last night kodi is more likely to be our new no. 6 and it looked as though milf looked pretty comfortable at first receiver

I think knik will be named in the 7 next week but it will basically be an audition for milf as a halfback and I'm looking forward to see how we go.

Kodi would be my first pick at half back. Milford still throws too many bad passes IMO wheras Kodi seems to be more of a natural ball player and much better passer of the footy .

At any rate Kodi should definitely be playing NRL , not running around in Q cup Ditto Mead.

well it looks like the storm might chase Kieran foran with Ryley Jacks to play #7 so there still is a chance anything can happen

@BArcher001: Scale of 1-10, what's the likelihood of James Maloney being a Bronco in 2018? #AskLurk
The Lurker: Minus 2… they couldn’t fit him under the cap on the money he is after. Plus he wants to stay near family in NSW.

I really would have a bit of patience and chase either Ash Taylor or Nathan Cleary. I would like Foran, but i have my doubts on if he would come.

Agreed . It looks like milf will be half next year and boyd or bird to partner him. Left feild i would say sandow or kahu, i think knik will play a key role aswell.
