They're the same kind of player? I couldn't think of 2 more vastly different players if I tried.
What this all comes down to is Milford, it looks like either way he's going to have to be the primary playmaker next season, we're going to get a pretty good idea over the next month how that will work out for us.

You might have heard of the bloke leaving ... a guy by the name of Ben Hunt.
The article said he can pinch hit in the back row if needed. Not that he would be moved there full time. And for him to be needed in the back row would mean we are experiencing the worst injury crisis in the history of sport.
If The bird/Milford halves combo doesn't work, Bird will be shifted to the centers.

Don't actually believe we've signed Bird or he has committed to the Broncos. If he has, it wouldn't be on ridiculous money. I think we may not sign anyone of note. I think a lesser name might be picked up. No idea who, it's just a feeling.

Funny thing is, if you want great players in your team, they are likely to achieve rep honours...
I seem to recall the Broncos doing quite well in the 90's with teams chock full of Origin players, for both sides... You might miss them for a bit at Origin time, but you have them for the remainder of the season and most particularly at finals time, where such players will win you those games...
