Parcell vs. KNik

A sick part of me hopes that Macca somehow gets bought by another club, because that is the only way some of you will see his value, particularly when he plays against us.

I think macca is doing a terrific job under Bennett. .. so in a way you're right, he won't be as good playing at another club.. But i think that's unfair.

He's been great this year. Awesome defense as usual but that's a given. . His game controlling is improving and his execution to the game plan is holding up our intensity and linking our halves together.

I'm happy with the dynamic we've got this year. Clearly it's working

that'd be shit for us, but good for him and his career. also makes the pathway for jayden into the first team a little less clogged so i guess there's some benefit?

Mate I think you have completely taken what I have said the wrong way.

I think Macca is playing great and the last thing I would want to see is him go elsewhere, I think some people on here don't realise how could he is and wouldn't see it unless he played somewhere else.

It'd be a great shame to lose Parcell, as indeed it'll be sad to lose young Taylor, but unfortunately that's what happens in this game.

When Kodi was on the bench for us we were all cheering him on, so i can't see a reason to change if that's how we end up going with our #14.

For the record, I don't have an issue with McCullough re-signing and think it would be pretty daft to let him go for Parcell or Nikorima at this stage.

However, I see something in Matty and would love to see him stay around.

It's a big choice for him. If I was his agent, I'd tell him to jump at the opportunity. An undisputed first grade spot with a great chance to build a 10 year career? Take it. Otherwise you may end up like Granville for a few years where the Rugby League public by and large weren't sure what he was capable of. Only QRL and Brisbane fans could tell you the guy was special and would make waves at the Cowboys. As it stands, he's the best hooker they've had since Payne started slowing down in 2008 or so.

Only thing going the Broncos way here is that they're a much better club than the Titans and have a premiership in them. If you want a taste of that premiership glory, you sacrifice a few dollars to be apart of that.

I thought the Titans were happy with that Balloon nuff and Moseley.

Keep away, peasants. Parcell would be throwing his career away signing with that rabble.

Falloon, Moseley, Srama, Redman.

They certainly need at least 3-4 more Hookers to be safe.

I think there's more in Broncos favor then that, Wayne Bennett offers him the opportunity to be coached under one of the best in the games history, his still young and the opportunity is there to actually get the proper game time to benefit from then Granville got under Griffin, it might seem good to go elsewhere and while it worked out for Granville he ended up a strong club like the Cowboys, so unless a similar opportunity presents itself going to a rabble like the Titans becomes far less appealing.

Considering how easy it is to get a release these days, sign with the Broncs for 2 years, try to overtake McCullough (shouldnt be that hard, McCullough is honestly not that good). If it doesnt work out, ask for a release.

That fat **** 'dobbo' was just on Nine and reckons it's certain to happen, I'm not so sure considering Barba and Kennedy's payouts should be off our books next year leaving room to re-sign Parcell.

Titans will offload Falloon (He's terrible) as well as Srama and possibly Morts. Leaving us with Moseley and Redman. Parcell is a great player IMO and as a Titans fan i'd love to have him, but Dobbo never gets anything right.

You have to think with the interchange change a lot of clubs will be looking for either 80 minute hookers or backrow/hookers rather than half/hookers. Using a quarter of your interchange to get a starting hooker rested and back on will be a thing of the past.

Disagree
Quick little men against tired defence

I think the other way, it will be good for little men; it'll bring them back into the contest along with more mobile forwards. Less wrestle and a retreating defence you'll see guys scoot by big tired men again.
