Parcell vs. KNik

You have to think with the interchange change a lot of clubs will be looking for either 80 minute hookers or backrow/hookers rather than half/hookers. Using a quarter of your interchange to get a starting hooker rested and back on will be a thing of the past.

I completely disagree. The world of smaller interchanges is where a quick and darty bench utility will excel. The best teams in the new era with have big but mobile forwards capable of playing big minutes and a darty bench utility in the mould of the Nikorimi to come on and destroy the tired big men.

I think when it eventually gets to 6 interchanges, the common bench rotation will be -

1x Hooker
2x Prop
1x Utility (Lock, 2nd Row, Centre) (Injury Cover)

People keep saying that "Big props" will be useless, but I dunno why they would be, there's still enough interchanges to rotate between the 2 starting props and 2 bench props, using 4/6 interchanges, leaving the last 2 interchanges for either some Hooker impact off the bench or injury cover with the utility.

I've really liked the two hookers on the field tactic for a long time now. Have one play 80 minutes if you need to, and when the other comes on have one of them defend at lock....like we've been doing this year when Parcell has been on.
