Parker as Captain

He was going for a penalty, Robbie Farah and Smith try that all the time and those sort of plays depend on the ref, if the ref called it, it would have been a penalty to us on the 5th tackle. We never really played to "win" we were playing to flog them, that's why we were chancing our hands at any chance.

Who else should kick then? If there's an opportunity and the halves aren't there or don't call for it then he should go for it. Its worked for him before even if it didn't tonight. He had more vision to create stuff than the other players in our team even if they didn't pull off for him.

When young players see their captain taking run after run, after hit-up, after tackle, after tackle, that raises their heads up. What about last year when we were getting flogged, might I add by record margins, was it Lockyer's bad captaincy or just a shit team effort? eusa_think

[icon_shru Probably being harsh but parker killed us tonight, I hope that was his last game as captain of the Broncos... That missed conversion was a joke.

It was a stupid play. Trying to milk the penalty on the last and get caught with it.
Do you really think the young Broncos lift when Parker takes hitups and tackles?
I don't think so.
He's no Tallis.
Thaiday can be that Tallis with his hard runs and hits.
Rightly or wrongly, Thaiday is always there to stick up for his ''brothers".
