I invite anyone present at the Q&A to copy paste my question to him. I doubt he will even acknowledge it, because the only answer to it is our recruitment and retention since the 06 premiership have been abhorrent and the only way is up.

Wouldn't have answered it. Asked him if he agreed that we have been a long way off being a genuine threat at the premiership over the past few years and if so, what makes him think current plans are taking us closer to this?

White should be in politics - he answered all your questions just like a pollie - what a waste of time having him in here - go back and read it - we had people sucking up to him and people asking simple questions and getting standard answers
why can't we arrange to have a face to face meeting with Griffin and Gee and ask them some straight forward hard question we all talk about on here - and lets have it for a couple of hours and get down to the nitty gritty and then we will see if they are fair dinkum - bet they dont do it if it was put on them

It was what it was.

A small token of appreciation for the members and a chance to see how the CEO responds to these sorts of questions.

It was 90% PR speech, but I thought he came off well and made sure to put on the front that the club has goals and they're still in the process of meeting said goals.

With all due respect to the select members on here who were brave enough to put forward questions, most of them had obvious PR answers and were never going to get the sort of response you'd be after.

Personally, I would have liked to have seen someone ask that since the Broncos pride themselves on their junior talent whether they will be gracious enough to upload some footage of the NYC for fans to track their progress.

Exactly...at the end of the day, it's a business. As long as it's making money and the shareholders are happy, well...so is the CEO. Generally that goes with winning but not exclusively...although winning obviously helps...

Very true, Big Pete. I was thinking about it today while driving and reflecting on Foordy's and a few others' comments. Even if it was a hard hitting question, he's not going to say "you know what?, you're right - this club has gone to ****, hasn't it?"

I guess I just wasn't expecting it to be such a blatant PR job.
