They might be trying to get on top of it before the rumours get too over the top and the European cybercrime experts need to get involved. The first Courier Mail headline insinuated he was in a brawl, and I've seen posts on reddit where people claim without any evidence that he was belting his missus. That is a really odd statement, probably would've been better off just saying nothing and letting everything run its course.
They may not be able to talk about it because it's in the courts.Yes that is exactly what it says but no domestic does not equal nothing happened. The wording that there were emotions coming out and what happened after won't be discussed is significant.
Yep employ a good spin doctor and you can turn a sows ear into a silk purse, why does he feel the need to lawyer up if he's done nothing wrong, I'll bet there is a few people on here that have been through a lot more grief then Payne Haas has gone through in the last 12 months, deal with your issues and get on with it mateSounds like something happened, going with the sympathy play already. Very carefully worded statement that.
Police: Are you ok there sir, can we be of assistanceCops are *****. If payne was having a hard time and they came and started asking him questions I dont blame him telling them to get fucked.
With respect mate, with advice like that, please don't throw your shingle out as a lawyer, in particular as a criminal lawyer. Anytime you are charged with something or the police want to speak to you, get a lawyer.Yep employ a good spin doctor and you can turn a sows ear into a silk purse, why does he feel the need to lawyer up if he's done nothing wrong, I'll bet there is a few people on here that have been through a lot more grief then Payne Haas has gone through in the last 12 months, deal with your issues and get on with it mate
Point taken dude, still I am a believer in taking ownership of your actions and, "IF" he's screwed up he saves everyone and himself a heap of time and money and owns up for it, police body cam will cover his arse if he is innocent of the charges. With respect mate, with advice like that, please don't throw your shingle out as a lawyer, in particular as a criminal lawyer. I'm not 100% sure about that. Curtis Scott got done and through to the stage of pleading guilty to at least some of the charges laid before the police body camera footage showed he was basically assaulted by the cops. If Payne was in the same boat and not have his lawyer or anyone sticking up for him, or if the police *lost* the footage he'd be stitched up legally, from a p.r. point of view and likely sanctioned by the NRL too. In short the body cams are there to help the police, not anyone else.police body cam will cover his arse if he is innocent of the charges.

I understand that and don't disagree with you, however, Curtis Scott refuted the police allegations from the start, and was proven to be correct. Based on the live interview given by Paul White (bad reference I know) Payne Haas has admitted he is "ashamed and extremely remorseful for his actions, and " Payne knows he has done the wrong thing and is prepared to take ownership of his actions" , he doesn't need a lawyer with him to admit he was out of line, an apology from Payne Haas to everyone involved at the court hearing, will go a long way to minimising his punishment, and will be good for his standing as a Bronco and a high profile public citizen, hiring lawyers to make excuses for him only reinforces to him its ok to do what I did. Imagine the headlines, "Payne Haas admits to fucking up and abusing police, apologises to all involved in the incident and admits he needs to be more responsible", the guys standing in the publics eyes would improve"I'm not 100% sure about that. Except in the USA.You do realise body camera footage can’t get lost.
Not sure if it's been discussed elswhere but "Dobbo" on triple m with the full low down on the Hass situation apparently.
Says they went to goldy for a training session and where told to all drive themselves there and back and no post training drinks were organised as had been done in previous years because Kevvie didnt want any shit started. 80% of the players including Matt Lodge and TPJ drove straight home following the training session.
NOW, here's the twist... apparently yesterday morning one of the players wives posted on instagram she had been cleaning up vomit on the carpet which is usually from her 2 year old child and not her husband, she was now looking for places to burry him.
Surely somwone saw who posted it?? If not i reckon we'd be able to figure out who it was.
