They can... they can say that it's a huge misstep from his management. They clearly underestimated what the backlash would be and they have significantly tarnished his legacy as a player.Yes of course everyone knows who is responsible for it but you can't actually say it in the media, you could potentially be sued.
Lol no he didn’t?!Haas is definitely gone, Kevvie just said he will still be around for a while and is confident he'll stay.
Yeah definitely looked like he had red eyes from crying to me and Reynolds is consoling him.Haas looks shattered in the sheds from what I'm seeing.
Hopefully he has the smarts to see who his true friends are. Who'd want to leave a club with legends like Reynolds and Capes being the leaders.Reynolds and Donuts? both getting around Haas as we speak.
Asking for a release= fully committed.Conference on now. Not verbatim but summarising.
Haas was a distraction but club and the boys got around him.
He's really confident he can sit down with Payne and sort something out, he's been a big part of the club and will continue to be. He won't release him.
Doesn't buy that it distracts the players, players are resilient and it's part and parcel.
Few boos are nothing.
Journo asking how do you resolve:
"It's for another occasion not tonight, but he said it won't drag on, he'll focus on coaching".
Capewell: Players aren't worried at all, Payne messaged all the players and told them he was fully committed. Reiterated he's fully committed and said just look at his game.
Kevin and Cape again: He never lets the boys down, and he can't see him ever being in reserves.
Pete said Payne is being money hungry.
Capewell: We've got a short career and it might be over next week with 1 injury, stuff like this happens all the time, it's no fuss.
Yeah definitely looked like he had red eyes from crying to me and Reynolds is consoling him.
Let's hope. This is the bloke that was saving a try vs Cronulla last year and we were all cheering beyond belief. We take no pleasure in this situation.Sounds like he's getting a bit of a reality check.
I think he's realised the club means more to him than he thought.
The crying and Arey consoling him may well be Haas realising it's the last time he wears the Broncos jersey?
