So Haas is 17th in DallyM rankings - still behind ARey (7th) who's missed a few game so far.
Is all of this desperation borne of Patty (we missed a month and only 4 DallyM Points behind him) suddenly being almost as good as him this year?
The fact he has not come out and begged for forgiveness does me. Ask him where he wants to go and work out a compensation deal with that club. Let's end this shit.
No player is above the club and we don't need this overgrown man-child ruining our season any further.
You do know it was only an example of what Haas money could buy you .. right…None of the above. Sign some Qldrs who want to be here. Reyno gets honorary Qld membership.
Ruining our future.ruining our season
Those are pretty different scenarios. Guys like Isaako and McCullough were no longer getting picked in first grade because the were worse than the other options. The Broncos allowed them to move on to play first grade elsewhere while making sure they got there full contracted pay. Hardly the same thing.I hope this gets sorted out quickly, but I can't be too upset or surprised by this, I think loyalty is almost out the door in the NRL. It has to be a two way street, and its not like the Broncos are perfect either, the club is more than happy to get rid of players when they no longer suit the club. No one cared when Isaako wanted to leave early or McCullough was sent away...and the handful of other players the Broncos sent away that they also had to pay partial salary for. These players just didn't have the talent of Haas. It sucks as a fan, but that's the way the NRL is headed IMO.
Nah, it would cut him deep if that happened & I hope it does.Honestly I hope he gets the flick and ends up chases a prem for the next decade or so without winning one, while the clubs he leaves picks them up after he's gone.
Although I'm sure he won't mind if he's getting paid what he wants.
You'd hope so, and I have no idea whether these numbers are right but they were reported in the Telegraph a few days ago. We haven't heard he's had a pay rise.Doubt TMM is still on $80k but point kinda valid...
An honourable fucking motivation?
'I wanna win a premiership. I mean, I don't want to have to work for it. Just parachute into a contender.'
