NEWS Payne Haas retracts immediate release from Broncos then

Now we will see the benefit of a fit for purpose and switched on front office.

Does Haas's team actually think they are dealing with the 2020 Broncos front office?

A marker will be put down here by the club, one which will set the standard of all future demands from players

This has all the markings of that slimeball Nasser all over it, man looks like Money Bill all over again. Broncos should either a) request a like for like player or b) make Haas sit out his contract in Q Cup or c) hold off releasing him until we can sign a player and then release him. I like option C the best as it makes him sweat pills etc. Do you think Freddy would pick Haas for NSW if he was demoted to Q Cup?

Yep thank god this is happening with Ikin and DD at the club. I am confident that they will extract the best possible outcome for the Broncos from this mess.

You're late to the party, mate. We're already into the acceptance phase, and are getting excited about a bigger brighter tomorrow.

The one thing I'd like to add, late as I am; for all the people saying we still won the spoon with Haas, despite being our best player - imagine how much more shit we would have been without him.

There had better be some serious upside to this scenario or it's just plain fucked, eh?

That is why I don't buy into this panic about pissing off the playing group by playing hardball with Haas. He's the one that wants to up and leave them to it mid season for a payday. They can take it up with him.

The upside is we get to retain more players end of next year when many contracts are expiring and potentially buy a spine player as well. Putting big money on props is a desperate/struggling team trap. the amount of money he wants is ridiculous.

Rooster have approx 500k free in their cap.

It appears true as is reported, its disgusting behavior. Fucking mercenary and grub. His management actively shopped earlier in the year, with the broncos aware re future contracts. They came back to the club and told Sydney media he is happy to stay and continue negotiations as well as being motivated to play at the club.

Put him on gardening leave. No training, no games until resolved.

If they are still friends with him after this then they can go with him. These kinds of shitcunts are the reason we have sucked for so long.
No one respects anyone walking on eggshells, cut it at the jugular.

1.2 mil for a prop, get the **** out of here yesterday.

To me that sounds like a self sabotage to get out of the club, no fucking forward is worth that much ever.

1.2 million for a Prop....Yeah nah bye Payne. You might be able to dupe some idiots at the Dogs or Tigers into forking that out but not us.

Still beyond convinced this is snake in the grass stuff from the Roosters.

**** off with this hateful shit. Most players remain friends with their ex-teammates. Patty, for example, is still friends with David Fifita.

The broncos’ offer was 1.05 mil? Jesus Christ

Kev simply asks him if he supports what his manager is saying and he does want an immediate release.

If he answers yes then he's got to be dropped from Friday night's game. No way does he get to wear our jersey with an attitude like that.

Let him sit and sweat while we formulate our next move that will best suit the club.
