PLAYER Payne Haas

I doubt we'll hear anything more on this until after the World Cup which wraps up on November 20th. I'd say this all comes to ahead around the first Friday of December, so December 2nd.

I still think he ends up at the Roosters with another big name Roosters player moving on.

No intel but I also expect the Broncos to announce a marquee signing in the off-season. My prediction is a divisive figure like David Fifita. The Broncos know that they have to make changes and he's somebody they could get their hands on early.

I expect a lot of movement this off-season with Wests, Manly etc. involved.

Very curious to see how many years Billy Walters signs on for as well.

It’s funny you say that. I have no intel either but just something feels like Riki to NZ and we bring Fifita home.

When do you guys reckon Haas to Roosters will be announced? When they drop out of the finals race of in the middle of offseason so it doesn’t get any media attention?
Later today and will be able to take on the Rabbitohs this week. Abdo will hold a press conference praising the move saying “we need our best players playing at The Roos, I mean in the finals and it’s not like he beat up an 18 year old so what’s the big deal?”

I'd rather keep Riki, and spend the difference in the spine.

Piss riki off, give piakura a proper crack, we also have tc who showed real improvement before his arm break.

spend on spine.
Can't see Piakura lasting a season, really should have kept Hosking as backup, I reckon between those 2 you're paying the same price as Riki but getting better performance.

Spine is nice, just need to find someone. I think it's likely we raid the SL for a 9. We need someone to hold the position for a couple of years while Mozer develops.

If his last name was Walters you'd want him gone.
Ignoring the car crash of conflicted interest waiting to happen, the difference between these two players is the club already has a two year commitment to Jordan, while the other bloke is now a free agent, and the club must evaluate him like every other player on the market. But yes, part of that evaluation is potentially having to deal with the coach's conflict of interest.

I'm disappointed he hasn't developed into an attacking weapon, but other than one notable shocker in the wet I don't think he's as atrocious as many are saying. Capewell is the bigger disappointment post Origin.
Capewell is easily the bigger disappointment, he’s proven that it should be a blip. My concern is riki will be a (not prime) Alex glenn.

Why do so many here hate Riki with such a passion? It looks a bit like homophobia.
Hold up. You don't just get to claim this without evidence. How on Earth does the Riki hate look like homophobia?

I don’t hate Riki but I think he’s more or less hit his ceiling. The guy didn’t start playing league until he was like 19 and I think it shows.

I would really like to see us sign John Bateman and either shift Capewell or Riki. Either Capewell to lock or Riki to bench middle.

Protip: don't circumvent "ignore" if you need every joke explained to you like you're 5.
