Hunt and Norman are our future 6 and 7.

Wallace can go at end of contract. End.

Macca yes. Norman no. Norman did ok given he was playing in an attack as structured as porridge

And not to mention Norman was getting terrible service from his halfback.. :P

So even tho Wallace did everything, we all want to get rid of him for Norman.

You should all give yourselves 24 hours before replying to a thread like this.

*rolls eyes*. It's ok GC and Rock etc, you can defend your beloved Wallace all you like. He was bad tonight, bad last week and bad against Penrith , but hey, he played some good games last year, and against Souths this year so he's orsm.

Let's defend him forever.

Oh yes because I was so hyping Wallace's performance tonight to to be in line with Alan Langer, Ricky Stuart or Andrew Johns  I got no problem with criticism when its constructive and justified, I do have a problem when its ruled by emotions as a lot of it has been tonight to the point they are being made a scapegoat and the majority(not all) of it isn't justified. Is Wallace playing the standard of football that we should expect from him at present? no he isn't and its something he needs to lift but that doesn't mean he deserves the level of criticism that has been directed at him tonight when there have been other players also involved in the playmaking that didn't play to their potential.

But being a player and a fan is all about emotIon. And dammit, I reckon the key reason we lost tonight was Wallace. Overall. Not just looking at odd things, but overall. Especially when the rest of the team gave so much. If Locky had been there in place of Wallace, we would have won by 30. Purely on Locky's leadership, which WAS Wallace's job tonight. He knew he had to step up. That's the job of a senior player, especially when your team has no experience where it counts - leadership.

I'm not saying Wallace failed at being creative. No, he's not Alf or Johns. But he had a critical job to do tonight and he blew it. Worse, it was a game when our passion and enthusiasm made the Tigers play Crap.

He was like a little lost boy out there tonight, he seriously could not have look more clueless if he tried tonight.

Yes emotion is part of being a player and a fan, but it can also cloud ones judgement as shown tonight. To suggest that overall Wallace is to blame for tonights loss just highlights my point, your making a scapegoat of him. That with Lockyer we would have won by 30, yet I have seen plenty of games in the Broncos history in situations like this that he has been in that suggest otherwise that have resulted in losses and as for being Wallace's job, actually that was the job for Norman, Wallace, McCollough and Hunt to share because if you understand the abilities and real level of experience Wallace has you would realise expecting him to be the answer to all the leadership for the side is unrealistic, its upto the team to step up not just one player.

As for our passion and enthusiasm making the Tigers play crap, not really the way they played they didn't need any help.

the way the voting is going in the POTS Wallace is very real possibility to place. further showing that some people on here aren't giving him the credit he deserves ancillary are making him the scapegoat goat for tonights loss.

Exactly. There has to be a scapegoat though, without scapegoats BHQ doesn't exist.

So Wallace has had a shocker the last three weeks, he's kicking is fine, but his running game is gone. Why? Is what i think everyone wants to know. So heres my why.

He was picked for the blues in two origins for a reason, this guy has talent, dont turn on him.

I have been telling everyone i know ever since he came to the broncos, Peter is a a natural five-eighth, like locky his creativity dries up when hes forced to do the routine stuff of an organisational half back.

He relies on his running game to setup his plays. At the moment he has no running game. He has no running game because he is forgetting one crucial thing! MOVE AT SPEED!! He is trying to go slow at the line waiting for them to make a move so he can react and make the right play.

Because is is puttering around like a tortoise at the line, the opposition doesnt need to make quick decisions and is giving him nothing to play with. And worse, the guys around him on his own team get nervous cos when he goes to the line and holds the ball up forever they dont know what what he wants them to do. Because hes meandering side ways they cant run a line because if he keeps coming toward them Pete will give away a penalty for a shepherd.

Please for the love of god, someone tell the coaching staff at the broncos to point this out to him:
1.Start running at the line at pace!
2. Call a runner to hit the line and have someone deeper out the back if the run is not on. That way hes got at least one option if the flat pass isnt on.
3. Regardless of whats happening straighten up at the line to draw a man and throw the pass early, you dont have to do everything give your center a crack!

At the moment he makes me nervous every time he does his crab walk sideways charade at the line and its affecting his runners in the same way!! If he gets his confidence back his creativity will come back and wham! Peter Wallace from yesteryear is back!

Could also mean some people on here seem to attribute points to our 7 just for the sake of it, it sh!ts me when people praise his defense. I couldn't give a fark if he misses 20 tackles a game if he actually sets up tries occasionally.

Anyone who puts Wallace in their top 3 performers tonight is an absolute retard. Parker, Hoffman, Te'o, Gillett, Tronc, Kenny, hell even Winterstein were better.

Well you have just bought this thread a one-way ticket to see the Lock-ness monster, so nothing else to lose here. Retard hey? Geez that's big of you Coxy. Yeh not everyone is going to vote the same way every week but to ridicule people like that is just childish. Expected way more from you mate.

Had a listen to the Grandstand team on the way home, and Wallace got 2 votes in the Warren Ryan Medal. Grandstand team must be a bunch of absolute retards.

Oh and ning said in the POTS thread for votes and votes only. Good to see you can read

You mean like the one he set up for Te'o?

I think some people here put the anti-Wallace goggles on and have NFI about what went on on the paddock... [icon_non
