Player Movements & Rumours 2010

Surprised the headlines haven't been "Houston: we have a problem".

Yes based on his ability on the field but no based on what has happened. He is a great player in the making and he would be a great addition to our pack but I couldn't stand the idea of the Broncos developing a drug culture in the future. So it's a no. :)

In four years, when he is elligible again, he won't be much chop.
No from me.

Wicks resigned as well, wondering if it is some kind of legal tactic? If they are found guilty whilst not under contract will the NRL be able to ban them?

If they are found guilty they may receive minimal jail time if any depending on the process like co - operation etc, first time offenders and all the other things they discount penalties by.
Will they then be able to walk back into a contract having served their penalty.

i heard both wicks and houston both tried to get caught with drugs so that the knights could sack them so they could come to the Broncos.

The Broncos have made an offer to bring back Greg Conescu. They heard the story of the tortoise and the hare and thought they may as well bring back a turtle because slow and steady always wins the race. Personally I am stoked to have Conescu back as I think having a young talented hooker is over rated and I think that a 50yr old with lot's of experience will add alot more than McCullough. I think they should just release him.

In other news the broncos have seen the requests from bhq for them to sign a couple of good front rower, well this will be a delight to the fans they were looking at Steve Price and they thought hey we could go even more experienced. And word is you will see Mark Hohn and Brett Plowman back in Broncos colours next yr. People power has done it. We may as well release guys like Josh McGuire now.

Any other suggestions are welcomed to the club of who to sign to b.cullen@broncos.com.au. I am thinking Andrew Tessman and Rohan Teevan would be smart pick ups. But Brett Le Man could definately add something to the squad.

Get excited broncos fans, with a front row like that the 2010 premiership is ours.

speculation about wicks and houston will have to wait anyway. I believe gallop was quoted as saying it will be a life ban for both players if found guilty.

I say sign them, Tim Smith needs someone to party with.

Edit: Houston would also be good outside back depth.

How would Houston be good outside back depth when he's really a back rower?

My friend told me they saw him at the shops. He was taking his groceries back to the car in the trolley and another car pulled out in front of him. The evasiveness and agility he apparently showed in getting himself and his trolley - without tipping it, mind you - out of the way really impressed me. I could draw parallels between the skills he showed there and those of a centre/winger. I think that is where he would really excel.

Hmm, but the only team whose defence is like a bunch of women with shopping bags and trolleys is Souths.......

I don't what to sound like a scratched record (for you gen Y and gen Z'ers and gen-I peeps, it is a big black round thing played on a turntable to produce music), I do wish we had one or better still, two seasoned and experienced props on the roster.

we have lost the chance for experienced props. lets just fcuking hold onto someone when they get some experience instead of letting them go! god dammit.

I would say that by end of 2010 Nick Kenny, Josh McGuire, Scott Anderson etc will all qualify as experienced props.

Not sure if you aimed that at me. If you did then wake the F U. You deliberatly read some conspiracy theory into my post.

If not, then carry on. [icon_confu

You put a Conspiracy in your post to begin with. PWA just added another and frankly i found it LoL'able.

That way giving Bruno the confident to continue to buy back rowers and wingers!! Awesome
