PNG Hunters

The Broncos do have a relationship with the Hunters; Marum spent the week with Bennett this season. Bob Bennett works for the PNG football.

Broncos wore PNG BID on their shorts a few years ago as well. White, Reader and Rowen worked hard on that.

My thoughts exactly !!! I was aware we had been supporting the brothers from the north although I don't know to what extent. I'm sure NQ is very aware too but the political problems and the interference in that country make a physical presence problematic.

Well, I'm a PNG boy. My whole family loves the broncos and Queensland. Favorite player of all time is Locky. Cuisine? I'm a Pacific islander... I'll eat anything [emoji23]. Played both league and union (second row in league, flanker in union) and had to give it up due to a dodgy left knee... Well that's pretty much it from me, thanks for the warm welcome eevryone! S.Johang, thanking you for the very descriptive response! I think i speak for many here when i say we already feel like we have known you for more then just a couple days!

Well, enough from me, an, over to you an we look forwards to your next comnentary on the season happenings.

I think its best for the game if the PNG Hunters stay neutral and void of any NRL team with affiliation. It then gives all clubs free range to pick up their players at will and accelerate them into the NRL which is what the Hunters team is for. The more PNG players they can develop into first grade NRL players the better and if its just one club then the progression is slowed.

You're right. There's also the deal with our politicians trying to put their grubby hands on rugby league here. I'm pretty sure Wayne wouldn't want any of that
