Maybe I'm just in a good mood tonight....lol [icon_lol1.
But after reading the broncos v bulldogs thread I've been thinking of a few things.
Does being a passionate supporter mean that as soon as your team loses it ruins your weekend? Does it mean you have to pick apart the game and focus on all the negatives? eusa_think Maybe I've gone soft, but there is a lot of crap out there, and I don't want footy to be one of them...yes, even if we lose!
Don't get me wrong, I am a passionate broncos supporter and have been for the last 17 years but........I enjoy watching the broncos play footy, win lose or draw. Now I will admit that last week against the storm was a tad hard to watch lol but I really enjoyed the match tonight. Yeah we lost, and there are some improvements to be made, but there were patches of great attacking and some great tries. Some one mentioned that we don't have the side of 2006 and a lot of our players are inexperienced, and it's showing in our form. Is that totally a bad thing? I like watching the young players develop and improve over time. I like watching them scoring or making a big hit, even in a game we lose. And we are never going to win the premiership every year.
I totally understand people wanting to analyze a game, where we went wrong etc, but when someone comes in with something positive they are often shut down. I guess we need to vent our frustration when we lose, but do people still enjoy watching the broncos play, or only when we win? As I'm typing this I guess it's a silly question [icon_lol1. ...but
is it just me? What do you guys think?
Could be an interesting discussion!
