I agree, totally unacceptable our 2014 best player to have a quiet one, off to QLD cup with Hunt!

There is something fundamentally wrong with a coach that puts Parker at hooker to make way for Whitchurch.

A game like tonight, in this heat, Nikorima would have excelled. South's had plenty of points to leak tonight.

Literally first hit up Whitchurch drops the ball. Way too pissed off to post anything reasonable.

What's this Reed is a good defender nonsense. Every game he goes in to tackles all arms and often let's in a try, just like he did for Walkers tonight for their first.

Whitchurch was a disgrace, shouldn't have been there after his efforts in England. Gavet was a liability. Milford was quiet but was playing behind a dominated forward pack with a tortoise hooked providing him service.

Think the banter between the commentators and Lockyer about his transition to five eight was bang on.

I don't expect any changes bar some tinkering with the bench for round 2, I'd say Reed probably has a few games grace.

A disappointing result but I'm not going to call for mass sackings just yet. It's round one, new coach, new five eighth and the first choice fullback not playing so I'm prepared to give it until Origin before we should be in full steam.

I think Broncos will surprise everyone in this game. They may not win, but I don't think they will lose the way people are saying they will lose.

They need to be taken seriously. They need to get that aura back and giving it to the premiers would be a great start. Beating them would be even better.

I don't think it will be an easy night for Souths.

These are the kind of games Bennett coached teams usually thrive in.

I just fucking hope the parker at dummy half thing doesn't turn into a battle of egos. Horrific game plan. Best lock in the game? Put him at dummy half to pass the ball to the likes of Whitchurch and Gavet.

Going to wait until I catch a replay before I start making suggestions or throwing players under the bus but obviously I'm disappointed with the Broncos performance.

Souths on the other hand have gone to another level and have started season 2015 where they left off. A magnificent team and I've got to say, a magnificent fanbase too. It was incredibly uncomfortable at Suncorp tonight....not really fun at all but they kept chanting all night and their players fed off that.

I think whenever the ground announcer told the Broncos fans to make some noise, most of us told him to rack off...

Going to take a few hours to first take a shower because I feel like I've spent an entire day at a music festival, drink about six tall glasses of water, bask in my air-conditioning then put my feet up as I watch my beloved team get flogged again.
