Nice having the footy back. not the best game, but still nice.

Thought the pigs set the platform that won the game, with the stand out being O'ofou.

No real standouts in the backs, which is a good thing. Bit disappointed by Quai Ward's attack, but his D was sound. Thought Mariner probably best, followed by Johnson.

Smoothy MOTM for me. Set the tempo & didn't do anything stupid.

Lee Briers coached the team:

Full time NRL has far different demand than lower grades, do you think hes carrying the right fitness and weight?

He’s done pre-seasons at three NRL clubs and his weight hasn’t changed. To just say he needs to lose an arbitrary seven kilograms at the end of a pre-season makes no sense.

We may disagree, but is there a 97kg hooker in the comp that can do 6.5-7m/s? Short burst and reaction speed is so important. That's where my opinion comes from.

Is there any highlights of the game, can’t seem to find anywhere

Bloke in a Bar discusses the trial. No surprise, the main talking point is Smoothy, with the elephant in the room best left unsaid. They're unaware Mozer is on no contact. Also Quai Ward:

With a Broncos team made up of outer top 30 players and development players smashing a Qcup team would essentially be a team of NSW cup quality taking on a Qcup team and smashing them?

Like what we see in the State championship game at the end of the year each time.
