Paix looked sharp, was happy with most of the team, no real complaints.

Add Reyno, Flegler and especially Walsh who was electric last week, and I don't think Panthers are short priced favourites, they'll have work hard to beat us.

Only been on 15mins at most, but Mozer's passing is 1,000,000 times better than Walters

I know it's on trend to bag billy Walters but ffs we scored nearly all our points when he was on. Save your agenda driven shit for when he has a bad game aye....

And, please note, I'm not a Walters fan. I think he isn't the answer but ffs just bcos of his last name ppl are having a go, it's so boring....yes paix and mozer were great but Walters was threatening and always gives 100% effort. Look at the trial forums last year where people were praising him and saying he us so bloody great for some perspective aye. He isn't the answer but he ain't that bad. He's a step up from Turpin, who was a fulltime hooker. Mozer isn't quite ready but a paix-walters combo ain't bad considering the rest of our spine, we aren't the Roosters or cowboys, we need to manage the cap.

Penrith were shit themselves tonight, they scored 2 tries off kicks, no sort of creativity once you shut down the space of their halves. Api Koroisau will be a brutal loss for them and I don't think they appreciate it, until now.

Which is why we got reamed a couple times from them... I think more teams will look to do it moving forward... and then when it happens against panthers or souths Vlando will step in and change it to something like the 20m tap... i.e. if you pass it too long then you can't take it quick or something like that

Played very well. Very happy with that win.
Staggs again no where to be seen. Mariner can’t be far away from taking his spot. If we are serious, Walters shouldn’t be in the 17.
Ezra was very quiet in that second half, he really had the chance to put his stamp on that game, especially with reyno not there. I’m still waiting for Riki to explode, but other than bombing a try, he did nothing.
Mozer looked good. Could tell he was very nervous, I would have liked to have seen him back himself a little more and go for a couple of runs especially late in that second, but hope he sees some more time in the 17.
Arthars and Mariner were very impressive tonight.
Big shout out to Carrigan, he was massive.
All round many positives to take out of that one.

Every indigenous kid with any sort of ability will be compared to GI, providing they play in the backs, that's just the way it's going to be.

Defence was good mostly. Thought both our centers were anonymous, they both need to get themselves involved a bit more with the ability they have. Cobbo unconvincing for me at fullback.

Impressed with Arthars finish to the game as well, he's going to be a bit unlucky if Walsh is fit to miss out. Patty Strong again and all the other middle forwards were fairly solid, but still a bit concerend about edge back row. We seem a bit weak there.

The hooker situation is interesting. Billy was OK and Paix looked sharp. I dont think we got to see enough from Mozer to make a decision. We know what Billy and Paix offer, i would have preferred to see what Smoothy and Mozer were all about in this game.

Pleasing win though. Tough, grinding win.

Why shouldn't it be defended? I'm not a fan of his, in fact, I think he's an 18-21 player in most squads, but I guarantee most of the Walters bathers can't name a game where he played terrible. He's solid, that's it, no more, no less. Not the answer, just a stop gap. But people act like kev Walters would pick him over c Smith bcos he is getting picked at the moment. We have limited options, he's a stop gap, he's doing it well in my eyes.
