So... 3rd year will be not only the highest value year, but at the player's discretion? I'm not even being a smartarse about this, it's possible we had to offer a third year at a higher value in order to sweeten the deal, when in reality 2 years would have been ample time for us to determine if Dearden was going to come good.

To me it looks as though Seibold has strengthened the weakest area without breaking the bank AND without compromising our strengths. I've reserved my personal judgement on him and I wasn't overly impressed with how the team played this past season.

I know rugby league is not a complex game but I was rather hoping to see a few trick shots and a little off the cuff stuff or innovation but it seemed to be what the clever call BennettBall. It seems as though BBall was taught to most clubs !!

I'm pleased with this reasonable value gamble and I really hope we play a bit more like the Storm and Roosters and dare I say it, with the grit of the Sharks (dirty rotten ped *****, should have been banned for life plus ten years) Hopefully that will keep the fuckhead posters fed.

I hope Croft is as cocky and competitive as Maloney and as tough as Toovey. Might be nice if he was as cheeky and humble as Alfie too!!
