Same comp starts end of this week ... as it does every year ... for the all round sports guru. Just google COCTC if interested - $100 to play, first prize last year was just shy of $6000. Tip everything from QCup to Horse Racing, World Athletics Champs to Netball.

Anyhoo ... Need to pick the QCup winner by Friday ... need a good solid selection ... anybody want to speak logic for me briefly ? I'm leaning toward Souths, in the hope they can correct last years season end.

FTR ... My grandfather played for Easts, my father is a life member, and I would change allegiance in a heartbeat to the Tigers if Easts entered the NRL. But couldn't possibly tip them (serious comp) to win the QCup in 2011. I have been present at their previous 4 premierships.

I think it's too late sorry Pigskin, but Norths look the team to beat this year. Have lost their good 2nd rower Gibb to Penrith, but that aside nearly the same squad as last year + Mick Roberts from Redcliffe who will team with his old partner in crime & forum favourite Shane Perry. Some talk Ryan Cullen may also line up for them. They'll be be very hard to beat

Mick Roberts as in I played for the dolphins then the Tigers and then the dolphins again Mick Roberts...... And Beads don't blow the Tigers off just cause of a team connection. Next year it will be someone different again. Plus next to the Phins, best canteen food ever.......EVER.
